Back the Brave is a non-profit organization that supports first responders and their families during line of duty deaths or a serious line of duty injury. Hourly prize drawings will include sporting clay packages, range passes, merchandise and more! Get ready for the upcoming Fall by purchasing the firearm you’ve had your eye on for months. Enter to win a choice of 2 firearms in a raffle.

“The fine people at Blackwood have offered to assist in raising money by donating a portion of their daily sales to our cause”, said Gregory Hopper, founder of Back the Brave. “What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than at Blackwood Gun Club raising money for those who protect us day in and day out. God Bless all that help others”.

The foundation was founded by Sugar Land Fire Captain Greg Hopper in 2016. He previously raised awareness in 2015 for Law Enforcement by raising over $65,000 for fallen police officers with the I’ve Got Your Back campaign. With the money raised, Back the Brave will be able to assist and help other families with Line of Duty deaths.

Kids can climb through firetrucks, explore the Montgomery County Hospital District ambulance, and visit with law enforcement officers while learning about the people that protect the community to keep everyone safe.

“Blackwood Gun Club has a mission to balance shooting sports with developing skills, events and community engagement”, said Aaron Bearden, wife of owner Jeff Bearden of the Blackwood Gun Club. “We are in the firearm business because of the community and especially those that serve us daily. Back the Brave is a great event to honor the first responders in our community”..

Vendors with related material specific to first responders are encouraged to email Connie@BalckwoodGunClub for participant information. All fess will be donated to Back the Brave. Join your friends for a fun Saturday with friends from the community Backing the Brave at Blackwood Gun Club located at 11400 FM 2854 in Conroe.
